Dynamic Dolphin Ensemble
The
Dynamic Dolphin Ensemble presents Central Riverside's growing musicians with the
opportunity for extra-curricular musical enrichment through instrumental and
vocal performance and music history study. A multi-age and multi-grade level
ensemble, the Dynamic Dolphins will work as a team, striving for excellence as
we prepare for various school functions and performances. Thanks to funding by
the
Cathedral Arts Project,
participation in the Dynamic Dolphins is
free for all students in grades 1-5. Dynamic Dolphins have several performances
during each school year.
The Dynamic Dolphins meet
every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 – 4:00. Our logo was design by
Meganne, a Dynamic Dolphin member.
In order to build solidarity
and citizenship, and to reinforce the performance-oriented nature of the group.
students are allowed only three excused absence from chorus. Please make every
effort to help your child attend. Awards will be given monthly for good and
perfect attendance.
Please discuss with your
child if they would like to be involved in this after school music group that
requires dedication and commitment from students and their families. Safety
Patrol duty will no interfere with rehearsals. Because many students participate
in a number of after school activities, please review your child's schedule
carefully to determine if she/he has the time to devote to the Dynamic Dolphins
before they enroll. Students who choose to drop out of or are removed for
attendance reasons, will not be allowed to return.
Participating members must
maintain an overall C average as well as a B in conduct. Applications, due
August 31, and informational letters will be available at the beginning of each
school year to be picked up from Ms. David or downloaded from this web site.
