Welcome to Chaffee Trail Elementary School!  Our goal is to provide your child with a 21st century education embedding technology into instruction.  Our students today are global learners so it is of the utmost importance to teach your child how to become an independent learner.  A child’s elementary educational experience sets the tone for establishing a pattern of life-long learning.  Here at Chaffee Trail our goal is to establish that effective pattern so that your child will experience success at all levels throughout life.  We welcome you as a part of our family and encourage you to participate in your child’s education with us. Mister Rogers Sweater Drive! Bring gently used sweaters from now until Nov. 30 No School! Wednesday, Nov. 11: Veteran's Day Classroom Catalog Contest! Celebrate National Recycling Day! Bring in your catalogs and magazines to be recycled from Tuesday, Nov. 3 until Tuesday, Nov. 10, and see which classroom has the tallest stack. The winning classroom receives a pizza lunch! Flag Raising Ceremony! Tuesday, Nov. 10 Florida Power Library School! Our school was recognized as one of 26 schools in the state to have a model school library media program! Chaffee Trail Elementary was awarded the status of Florida Power Library School by the state in its inaugural year of the program for excellence in 21st-Century learning through collaboration and instruction in the school library.  Recycling! Help us raise money by bringing your newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and junk mail  to be recycled! See below GCA Custodial School of the Month! Recycling!

Chaffee Trail Recycles! Help us raise money for our school programs and our library by bringing your paper recycling to school. You will notice the green and yellow recycling bin in our parking lot. Bring your junk mail, magazines, catalogs, newspapers, office, and school papers to the recycling bin, and we receive funds based on the weight of the paper collected each week! Click on the link above for the flyer on what paper is accepted and what is not. Tell your neighbors and friends; they are welcome to use our recycling bin, too. Thanks so much for helping your school, your community, and your environment.
