Recycle Bucks
What are recycle bucks?
Kids earn recycle bucks by turning in the following items to Mrs. Gordan in PE.
In order to get credit for items turned in, PLEASE be sure to label the items with the first and last name of the student, the teacher's name, and how many items are being turned in. Take all items to Mrs. Gordon in the multi-purpose room.
These are the items that Mrs. Gordon collects and "pays" Recyclebucks for:

| Aluminum drink cans | 1 Recycle buck per can | Please rinse and crush if possible before turning in. |
| Campbell's Labels for Education UPC codes | 1 Recycle buck per point. | Points are generally noted on the UPC. If it does not say how many it is, it is worth 1 point. check www.labels4education.com for a complete list of eligible items and their point values. It's not just soup anymore! |
| Tyson A+ Labels | 1 Recycle buck per label | (found on certain bags and boxes of Tyson chicken products. Turn in the entire end of the bag or box flap with the A+ symbol |
| BoxTops 4 Education | 1 Recycle buck per boxtop | WIll also get credit for PTA boxtops |
NEWSPAPERS will no longer be excepted, as we do not collect enough of them in a year to keep our bin.
What are recycle bucks used for?
THe children can purchase many items such as little toys and pencils.The children can visit the recyle store before school located outside of the cafeteria on the designated day of the week. The start date is still to be determined. Once the store becomes available, it is usually on Tuesday mornings.
