New School Meal Payment Plan Online!

Using www.myLunchMoney.com, parents can log on and prepay for school meals using a MasterCard or Visa credit card. This new service is free, easy-to-use, convenient, private and secure. Simply go to www.myLunchMoney.com to enroll and start using the site to deposit funds into your child’s account. For more information, call (800) 479-3531 or visit www.myLunchMoney.com.

To set up an account, you will need:

  1. Your child's student I.D. number which you may get from their report card or by contacting your school.

  2. The name and the zip code of the school which your child attends.

  3. Once you enter this information and establish an account, you can deposit money anytime from your computer.  Parents can also check balances allowing you to always make sure your child has money for school meals.

Parents without Internet access may still access this service by calling (800) 479-3531, toll free.

Duval County Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program.  Under federal guidelines, some students qualify for free or reduced breakfasts and lunch. For additional information, call the Food Service Office at (904) 732-5117.

The lunch period is a pleasant time in the school day for students to quietly socialize with their friends and practice good table manners.   So that lunch can be an enjoyable experience for all, students are requested to keep their voices at a low level and eat only their own food.
Our school cafeteria will offer the Type A hot lunch which includes at least one third of the child's nutritional requirements for one day.  A main protein dish, milk, and three side options are included in this lunch.
Prices are as follows:

Plate lunch $1.60
Reduced plate lunch $ .40
Breakfast $1.00
Reduced breakfast $ .30
Milk $ .75
Adult breakfast   $2
Adult lunch    $3
Prices are subject to change after July 17.

Students will be served breakfast from 8:00AM to 8:15AM.    Students who ride the bus will be served when the bus arrives at school.
If you desire, a student may bring his lunch and purchase milk.  We discourage the use of thermos bottles and glass containers since they are difficult for small children to manage and can be a safety hazard if broken.  Please do not send pop top pudding or food cans: they, too, are a safety hazard.  We cannot sanction soft drinks as a part of nutritionally sound lunches: please do not send them to school.

Crown Point School will not be able to lend lunch money.  Neither money nor personnel is available for this service.  Each child must be responsible for his own money.  Please see that your child brings to school only the amount of money needed for that day.  This money should be in coin purse marked with the child's name.  An envelope with name and amount on it would be most helpful if the money is to be used for some other purpose.
It is very difficult to make change here at school and to divide money between children in different rooms.  We would appreciate it if each child has his own money.
We feel that learning to be responsible for small amounts of money is a valuable part of a child's education.  Please help us teach your child this responsibility.

Free or Reduced Lunch Applications

Application forms will be sent to all children to determine eligibility for free or reduced meals.  It is essential that you fill in the form completely and accurately.  By checking the table you can determine if you are eligible.  Breakfast and lunch will be served.
