What is S.A.C. ?The Crown Point Elementary "School Advisory Council" or S.A.C. is a group of
people composed of the Administration, Teachers, Parents and other business
and community citizens.
The S.A.C. Responsibility is to provide Parents, Citizens,
Faculty, Staff
and Students an opportunity to participate in the development of educational
priorities, assessment of Crown Point Elementary school’s needs and
identification
of local resources.
The S.A.C. Functions that have been performed in recent years
include:
 | Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of the
School Improvement Plan |
 | Assisting in the development and implementation of Programs to enhance the
educational goals and objectives such as the Character Counts Program and
School Uniforms |
 | Upon request, providing recommendations to assist the Schools’
Administration in dealing with isolated problem areas such as chronic
tardiness |
 | Initiating activities such as student assemblies to promote Patriotism and
providing Character Counts Awards to students |
 | Recommending and promoting community support services for the school |
