Grade Levels

We currently serve approximately 1200 students from the Duval County area in grades 6 - 12 who are academically talented or gifted and wish to pursue a medical field.  Admissions are limited through the district magnet office. 

Backpacks & Lockers

Absolutely no backpacks with wheels.  Backpacks must be able to fit in lockers and are not allowed to be carried from class to class during the school day.  Maximum backpack dimensions:  18"h x 16"w x 9"d.     Lockers are available for rent for $5 each.  Students may not use their own locks on the lockers - must use school-provided locks. 

IDs

All students are required to wear school-provided IDs at all times while on campus.  IDs are to be worn hanging from a lanyard around the neck - not in the pocket, tied to a belt loop, in a purse, in a backpack, etc.   Each student is issued their first ID free of charge; replacement IDs are $5 and replacement lanyards are $2.  Temporary IDs are $1 each with a maximum of five. 

Progress Report Dates

September 22 - 1st Qtr progress reports; October 24 last day of 1st grading period
November 30 -  2nd Qtr progress reports; January 19 last day of 2nd grading period
February 29 - 3rd Qtr progress reports; April 2 last day of 3rd grading period
May 10 - 4th Qtr progress reports; June 7 last day of 4th grading period
