Principal's Message

 

Welcome back to the 2011 -2012 school year! At Don Brewer Elementary, our theme for the year is "Construction Zone: Using our Tools to Build a Better Tomorrow." I feel honored to serve as the Principal of Don Brewer Elementary for the second year! We have the hardest working students, teachers, parents, business partners, and community members in Duval County!

Our faculty and staff members work hard on a daily basis to lay the foundation for every child to succeed. This year, we will focus on all of the tools that we need to give our children so that they are not only able to be successful as students at Don Brewer, but also when they leave here to go to middle school and beyond.

We encourage you to put on your hard hat and tool belt with us as we equip our children with the tools the need to have a better tomorrow! You are encouraged to join PTA, SAC, volunteer in your child's classroom, and work with your child at home.

I look forward to working with you... 2011 -2012 will be the best year ever!
