MEDIA CENTER MISSION
The Library Media Program's Mission
is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and
information.
The educational media specialist
will:
1.
Provide intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats.
2. Provide instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in
reading.
3. Work with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the need
of individual
students.
The Media Center is a center of activity at duPont Middle School. We have a
collection of approximately 16,000 titles. We have over 10,000 Accelerated Reader quizzes on our media
network as well as having internet access. As a Sunlink school you are able to
access our card catalog from this website.
