Our varsity football team begins their quest for a state championship by playing Tallahassee Lincoln in the first round of the state playoffs tonight at 7:30 at Childs High School in Tallahassee.

 

Grade Recovery is now available to those students that made a D or F. It will be offered in the Media Center Monday thru Friday during 3^rd period and after school Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00. You can check out the details on our schools website.

 

Ed White’s blood drive has been moved to Monday November 30^th from 8:00 to 1:00. See Coach Gwynes in student activities for more information and to make an appointment. A government issued ID is required to donate.

 

If any freshman, sophomore or junior that has any homecoming week pictures they would like to go into the yearbook, please drop them off to Mrs. Pickard in room 2G before or after school.

The wrestling team will compete in the North Florida Duals this Saturday at Bishop Snyder High School.

The boy’s basketball team will compete in the Pre-season Classic this week in Palm Coast.

The girl’s basketball team will play at Englewood today. The JV starts at 6:00 with the varsity tip off at 7:30.

Did you know that Ed White is now open on Saturdays from 9am till noon for those students that want more help with FCAT, Science, ACT, SAT, or Grade Recovery. Lunch will be provided, but you must provide your own transportation. Go to our schools website for more details.

Attention all Ed White students and Faculty. Do you know someone in need or perhaps your family can’t afford that big Thanksgiving dinner that everyone is craving next Thursday. Well you may be in luck! Divas & Gents is having a turkey give-away essay contest. You must write an essay explaining the family or family’s circumstances and how much it would mean to you to have a great Thanksgiving. Essay’s must be turned into room 2B no later that Monday. Winners will receive a $50 dollar gift card to Walmart. 

The fellowship of Christian Athletes will host a social Monday night at 6:00 in the Media Center. So come out and enjoy the free food, fun and worship. If you are already a member, make sure you bring your t-shirt, money, fruit or candy. Contact Coach Burney if you have any questions.

The girls softball team defeated Wolfson yesterday in a double hitter. The scores were 19 to 1 and 15 to 2. This makes their overall record 14 – 1  and 1. Come out Monday as the Lady Commanders take on First Coast.
