*        2 large bottles of liquid hand soap

*        2 boxes of facial tissues

*        2 blue folders with 3 prongs and 2 side pockets

*        2 yellow folders with 3 prongs and 2 side pockets

*        2 red folders with 3 prongs and 2 side pockets

*        2 green folders with 3 prongs and 2 side pockets

*        2 glue sticks

*        1 calculator

*        2 yellow 1-subject spiral-bound notebooks (wide-ruled)

*        2 large containers of disinfectant wipes (Ex. Lysol or Clorox Wipes)

*        1 small pencil box

*        2 boxes of 24-count crayons

*        2 packages of pencils

Be prepared to send in $10 in order to support your child’s science/social studies curriculum through the use of student magazines.

 

EXPECTATIONS

*        Write first and last name

*        Know address and phone number

*        Know birth date

*        Count to 20

*        Write numerals 1-20

*        Practice beginning consonant sounds

*        Know basic shapes

*        Know orientation of a book (holding a book the correct way, not upside down or backwards)

*        Tie shoes

*        Use age-appropriate bathroom skills (flushing, washing hands, no playing, no pull-ups, leaving bathroom clean)

 

 

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

*        Visit and join the library.

*        Learn to tell time.

*        Read books daily.

*        Use pictures to tell a story.

*        Work with money.

*        Practice coloring and cutting with quality.

*        Jump rope.

*        Practice handwriting.

*        Parents read to children.
