Fourth Grade Expectations & Supplies
Beginning fourth graders should know how to do the following with ease:
Multiplication, division, addition, subtraction facts (timed)
Read chapter books
Write stories
Complete projects
Your child will need the following supplies on a daily/weekly basis:
Pencils
Pencil sharpener
Loose-leaf notebook paper
Composition books (2)
Pens, highlighters
1 inch post it notes
Tabbed dividers
Highlighters (assorted colors)
3 ring binder (with plastic sleeve in front)
6 pocket & prong folders for social studies, science, math (leave the name off)
Colored pencils
Colored ink pens
Our classroom will need the following (optional) supplies for the school year:
Kleenex
Liquid soap/sanitizer
Ziploc bags
Lysol
Antibacterial wipes
1 bag individual wrapped candy
Waterless antibacterial soap
