IB General Regulations: Middle Years Programme

 

UNIFORM POLICY

School Shirt
  • School shirt must be maroon, gold, or white with a collar
T-Shirts
  • T-Shirts worn under the uniform shirt must be a solid color
Uniform Pants
  • Khaki, black, blue, or navy pants, shorts, skirts or capris
  • Skirts and shorts must not be worn more than 3 inches from the back of the knee
  • All pants, shorts, and skirts must be worn at the waist
Belt
  • Black smooth leather belt, with a plain buckle must be worn on the waist
Shoes and Socks
  • Shoes must be black, white, or brown
    • The following are unacceptable:
      • Large distinctive colored logos and designs
      • Heels higher than 1 inch
      • Backless shoes
      • Open toe shoes
  • Socks must be either solid black or white
  • Socks are not to be worn on top of the pant leg
Sweaters and Jackets
  • Sweaters and jackets must be either be solid in color
  • Sweaters and jackets must remain unzipped
  • Hooded sweatshirts, sweaters or jackets are not allowed
Student ID Badges
  1. ID badges must be worn around the neck to enter class or walk around the school
    1. Student without IDs:
      1. Will report to their House Office for a temporary neon tag
      2. Must sit separately in the lunchroom
      3. Will not be allowed to purchase items from the impulse line
      4. Cannot participate in any extracurricular activities
Head Covering
  • No head coverings may be worn

Non Compliance will result in the following:

  • Phone call to parents to bring regulation clothes

  • Student will be assigned ISSP for the remainder of the day

  • Repeat violations will result in ,multiple days of ISSP
