Fletcher High School
Advanced International Certificate of Education
AICE Program
2010-2011

Fletcher High School will be offering the AICE program for ninth graders starting in the 2010-2011 school year. The Cambridge AICE Program is an international academic acceleration program for the independent, advanced learner. The hallmarks of the program include a commitment to individualized learning, advanced curriculum and written assessment program. The Cambridge AICE curriculum is comprehensive and flexible- it allows each student to design a schedule of accelerated courses around his or her skills and interests. The AICE diploma is not only a prestigious award, but it is also an indicator that your student has participated in the most rigorous coursework available.

Admission Requirements:

Successful completion of Algebra 1 in the eighth grade.

Achievement Level 3 or higher on both Reading and Mathematics sections of 7th grade Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). (Comparable test scores from private school or out-of-state students will be accepted.)

Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher in 8th grade.

The deadline for AICE is Friday, March 19th. Acceptance will be based on space available.
