Summer Reading Academic Courses offered at Fletcher High School ___________________________________________________________________
Fletcher High
School Fletcher High School will be offering the AICE program for ninth graders starting in the 2010-2011 school year. The Cambridge AICE Program is an international academic acceleration program for the independent, advanced learner. The hallmarks of the program include a commitment to individualized learning, advanced curriculum and written assessment program. The Cambridge AICE curriculum is comprehensive and flexible- it allows each student to design a schedule of accelerated courses around his or her skills and interests. The AICE diploma is not only a prestigious award, but it is also an indicator that your student has participated in the most rigorous coursework available. Admission
Requirements:
The deadline for AICE is Friday, March 19th. Acceptance will be based on space available. Eligible students must live in the Fletcher High School boundary area. _______________________________________________ Duval County Public Schools has purchased a license for OnCourse, a comprehensive online grade book. Beginning this year, parents will be able to monitor their student’s progress in each class.
