To ensure the safety of our
students, faculty and staff, the following policies and procedures have been set
to help meet our vision of “Educating Above and Beyond”

understanding, and being in compliance with our expectations.
Procedures:
No
student will be admitted after 9:00 am without a parent/guardian
Students
are expected to have the appropriate supplies for school each day:

are dependent upon:
All
parent conferences must be scheduled through Mrs. Cason, Mrs. McRoy, or Ms.
Pottinger.
Uniform
Attire:
Shirt
·
White
dress shirt with collar and sleeves (Males – Must remained tucked in)

No
labels, logos, or designs of any kind
o
Buttoned
all the way down the front
o
Long
enough to be tucked into pants
o
Tee
shirts must be white with NO writing or designs
Pants
·
Tan,
navy, or black dress pants
o
NO
jeans, stretch pants, shorts, cargos, painters, capris, skirts, or skorts
o
Must
be worn up around the waist, no baggy or oversized clothing, or excessively
tight clothing
o
Must
have belt and belt loops
o
No
labels, patches, holes, rips, frays, tears, or bleach spots
Belt

Dress
style belts with NO large belt buckles
o
Must
be worn at all times
o
Must
not dangle in front or to the side
Shoes
·
Tennis
shoes or flat dress shoes only

Socks
must be worn at all times
o
NO
high-tops, boots, or steel-toed shoes (may not go above ankle)

Must
be laced, tied, buckled, strapped, or zipped (traditional manner)

May
not be open toed or open heeled and heel must not be over one inch)
Hair
·
Must
be neatly trimmed and combed (Males – must not touch of collar)
o
Style
or color must not create a distraction to the educational environment

No
unusual designs cut into hair

Males
§ Must braid long hair down –
must be pulled up/back out of face
§ NO beards, goatees, chin
hair, or sideburns below the top of ear
§ Must be clean shaven, though
a neatly trimmed moustache will be allowed

Females
§ NO unusual or large hair
adornments (head-bands, clips, pony-tail holders/bands with anything attached,
oversized barrettes or beads)
§ NO excessively high up-do
Jackets

Must
button or zip all the way down the front and remain open throughout the entire
school day

Restricted
Items:
NO items, other than the
required supplies, are allowed on the bus or campus. The following items are a
general, partial, list of what is NOT permitted on Grand Park’s campus or busses:

Fridays from 2:00 pm - 3:00
