Dear Partners In Our
Success:
We are
off to a great start this year. I would like to thank all of our volunteers
for their countless hours
of dedicated service to our children as we strive
to move forward. Our new teachers are doing a great job
adjusting to their
new profession and providing and excellent education to our students, as our
veteran
teachers continue to do what they do best. As
our first quarter continues, we have to continue to encourage
our students
to do their very best and to adhere to our 2011 - 2012 theme, "CHASE". Students should
have homework and read daily. There
is no such thing as "no homework." As you know, the education of your
student goes best when it is a positive and practical partnership between
the school and the parents. In
fact, research shows that positive parent
involvement with your children's school can increase student
success in
school up to 30%. Our PTSA and SAC are offering many opportunities to
assist us here on
campus. If you have concerns or wish to offer suggestions
for fundraising of other events please do not
hesitate to contact me or our
PTSA/SAC directly.
