Student Spotlight

Cathedral Arts Project is a non-profit organization based in Jacksonville that supports over 1,000 students during the school year and the summer. Our students at Hogan-Spring Glen Elementary participate in the string program under the direction of Joshua Stone where they get the opportunity to perform on various instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Our orchestra has performed at venues such as the University of North Florida, JAX Airport, the Annual Zoo Lights at the Jacksonville Zoo, and the 100 year anniversary of Big Brothers/Big Sisters. They have also performed twice on live TV for the DCPS School Board Meetings and performed for the Mayor of Jacksonville. CAP continues to provide support and funding to keep our string orchestra program successful.
