Destination Success

Duval County public schools is pleased to offer all elementary students a software suite named Destination Success for the 07/08 school year! The program includes dynamic Reading and Math Software and can be used at school, home, or any location with Internet access. To access this valuable resource, go to www.duvalschools.org and click on the parents link, then click on the student software link. Look for the picture of the little monkey and follow the directions on the screen. Your child may have activities assigned by his/her teacher of you can use the program in EXPLORE mode with your child.

User Name: first name + last name + 214
Password: birthday (2 digit month + 2 digit day of month)

When logging in, do not add any spaces

FCAT Explorer

From the Florida Department of Education: Practice makes Perfect! FCAT Explorer has been designed to help students make real progress on the skills needed in the classroom, on the FCAT, and in life.

FCAT Explorer is fun, effective, and free while providing students with content built from the Sunshine State Standards benchmarks. Students can practice by themselves, because the programs give them corrective feedback and learning guidance, plus lots of additional features designed to help them succeed.

netTrekker

Available for all Duval County students, parents, and staff, netTrekker is an easy to use search engine designed to ensure safe, informative, and evaluated resources. The features include searching by Sunshine State Standards, topic, and grade level. In addition to a variety of search methods, netTrekker also includes specific instructional tools to accompany each topic such as learning excercies, pictures, maps and charts, timelines, and famous people.

For use at home, students need to create their own user name and password while logged in at school using the "Register" key. Once they have their user name and password, they can access netTrekker from home by clicking on the "Login" button under the "DI" section on netTrekker's homepage.
