Welcome to a new and exciting year here at Hyde Park Elementary!
 
If you would like to help out in any way please contact us...there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the school year.
 
Keep a look out for our fundraisers to be sent home and if you participate (no matter how much or how little) it will help improve our school, students and teachers.
 
All of the proceeds go toward many worthwhile projects and programs throughout the school year and we can't do them without your support.
 
Here is a list of some of the things the proceeds would help with:
 
 

  • year end awards and trophies
  • annual education entertainment
  • clinic supplies
  • Play Day
  • school improvements
  • pizza and popcorn parties
  • and many more things
 
We need volunteers...if you would like to help please let us know.  Check our website and bulleting board for updates for when we need volunteers.
 
Here are a few of things we will need help with
 
 
  • Vision Screening
  • Hearing Screening
 
We are in need of donations from the community to help stock our Positive Paw Store throughout the year.  Some items for example could be pencils,erasers, notebooks, small toys, stuffed animals, flash cards, cars, bigger items like bikes, sporting equipment, CD players, MP3 players...anything would be appreciated.  Gifts cards would be great for either an item for the store or for us to go and buy some items.
 
We are also collecting BOX TOPS for EDUCATION and CAMPBELL'S SOUP LABELS that help a great deal...so please send them in.  Please find the containers in the hallways and drop them in.
 
Also we collect soda can tabs to donate to charity.  Please send the in as well.
 
Membership is a big key to our success!  $5 is all it takes to help your child's school and help better their education.  It's only $5 per person over the age of 18 and this can include parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc.  Please look for your membership envelope to be sent home soon.
