CALLING ALL MEN! Your beloved J. Allen Axson needs YOUR help!

DOH was established to provide the children of J. Allen Axson with positive male role models.

DOH is a group of men that know how manly it is to read, cook, hammer, drill (More Power!) at J. Allen Axson!
DOH Dads perform a variety of functions at our school from building fences around the outdoor gardens,
fixing squeaky doors, reading during class and cooking breakfast on Family Breakfast day.

No matter what your background (cook, do-it yourselfer, green thumb, general helper, reader, etc.),
ALL men (Dads, Uncles, Grandfathers, etc.) are welcome to join DOH!

DOH Dads help J. Allen Axson in the following areas:

• “Renfro Readers” day of fun and exercise!
• Family Breakfast where the men cook and serve our J. Allen Axson families.
• “Tool box” men fix issues in the classroom such as hanging pictures, fixing squeaky doors or painting.
  DOH has their own tool box of tools to work with and we are always looking for Dads to donate new tools.
• Planting trees, shrubs, flowers
• Reading to your child’s class
• AND MORE!
  

DOH Dads: work around your schedule from 7am to 9 pm on any school day (except Friday evening).

As volunteers, DOH Dads must first be cleared by the Duval County School District to work at the school. Learn more here:  http://www.duvalschools.org/static/offcampus/volunteer/volunteerinfo/

DOH meetings are once a month, usually on Friday mornings from 7:30-8:30AM. Look for Paula’s e-mail for the next DOH meeting!
