Mission Statement
Jefferson Davis Middle School is “A Place of Choice” one supported voice engaging in learning today and embracing the heroic expectation of tomorrow. Our mission at Jefferson Davis Middle School is to guarantee every child a quality education, everyday. We are an educational institution that is committed to providing experiences that prepare students to meet life's challenges. Together, our stakeholders will strive to accelerate student achievement through clear and high student expectations, the use of a standards-based curriculum, technology-based instruction and making student work rigorous and relevant.
Vision Statement
Our vision at Jefferson Davis is "to provide a quality education for every child, everyday."
Jefferson Davis Middle School is implementing the Foundations curriculum in order to provide our students, parents and teachers with a proactive and positive school environment. Foundations is a school-wide program designed to increase positive interactions between staff and students. From this program, we at Jefferson Davis Middle School have developed three guiding principles. These principles will lead us in our daily interactions with everyone in our community.
