Jacksonville Heights is a school full of energy, passion and positive attitudes. We hold high standards and expectations for all of our students. We are looking forward to this school year and have been busy setting goals and working together to make 2008-2009 our most successful ever!

Welcome to Jacksonville Heights Elementary school where we are striving for excellence in all areas of study. We are proud to be one of the few schools in Duval County that have maintained over thirty years of 100% PTA (Parent Teacher Association) membership. Our teachers, staff, parents, school volunteers and community members are committed to the learning success of each student at our school. This year our students will be ‘Lights, Camera, Action. LEARN!’ as we ‘Dream, Believe and Achieve’ much success this school year.
My name is Paula Crosby and I'm proud to be the ESE Lead Teacher at Jax Heights! I've experienced a long and varied career throughout Duval County. I have a BA from UNF in Special Education and am completing a Masters in Technology. I have taught all grade levels through high school, across all handicaps.
I expect to continue my experience as a life long learner here at Jax Heights. I look forward to my interactions with all students. After teaching for 18 years, I still like to go to school!
