Volunteers are an important part of student success in Duval County Public Schools. More than 18,000 volunteers support schools each year, and the number is growing.

All volunteers are required to complete an application and undergo a criminal background screening conducted through the Community Involvement office. Approved volunteers are issued cards identifying them as authorized volunteers. Click here to download the application:  APPLICATION
