The school counseling program addresses the academic and personal/social needs of the students and families here at John Love Elementary. The services and programs provided help students resolve emotional, social or behavioral problems and help them develop a clearer focus or sense of direction. The counseling program is important to the school climate and a crucial element in improving student achievement.

Ms. Gamble coordinates our school’s 504 Plans, TARGET Team, Character Education Program, Gifted screening process, Multi-referral Disciplinary Referral Team, referrals for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services, and working with ESE teachers and staff with inclusion and mainstreaming of our ESE students.

Ms. Gamble is dedicated to reaching out to all the parents of John Love students by recruiting to increase parental involvement through PTA and Volunteers. Ms. Gamble encourages and is available to meet with teachers and parents for parent/teacher conferences, simply contact the main office at 904-630-6790 to schedule an appointment.
