Fidelity Investments!  ~

 

Hurrah for Fidelity!  Over the course of the last two years, Fidelity has steadfastly been by Lake Forest’s side, providing both materials and mentors for our school. Two years ago, Fidelity donated a “Reading Room” to Lake Forest, and furnished it with books, bean bag chairs, book bags, writing supplies, and more!  Our students are able to go to the Reading Room at their leisure and enjoy a good book.  Last year, Fidelity donated over 1,000 more books for us to add to the room!  How tremendous!

 

Also, each year Fidelity has generously given huge tubs of classroom school supplies to every one of our Kindergarten and 1^st grade classrooms!  They’ve provided everything from glue sticks to tissues to snacks, and more!  This has been a huge boost for our teachers and students, and keeps them well-equipped throughout the year!

 

Even more meaningful for our students, last year Fidelity developed a pen-pal program with our 5^th graders, which became a year-long project.  Each and every 5^th grader was paired with a Fidelity employee, and the partners exchanged letters throughout the school year.  At the end of the year, Fidelity provided a “Meet and Greet” celebration, which included a tour of their facilities, a picnic for all of the pen-pals, and still MORE books for the school! 

 

As we begin a new year at Lake Forest, we are truly and deeply grateful for our Fidelity partners.  They have become a treasured part of the Lake Forest Family, and we thank them for their enduring generosity.  J 

 

Citicorp Credit Services! ~

 

Citicorp Credit Services - better known the Citi Credit Cards - is located in the far opposite corner of Jacksonville from Lake Forest, and yet they too, have found ways to be right by our side!  For the past 2 years, Citi has donated truckloads of business, school, and office supplies to us!  They’ve given us everything from stamps and ink pads to bulletin boards to file folders and paper.  When they come to visit Lake Forest, it’s a holiday for our teachers! 

 

Citi has provided Lake Forest with an abundance of materials, and we are truly grateful.  With partners reaching out to us with such generosity, we are able to provide our students with a rich and full education.
