Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who Can Participate in Our Program?
A: Our program is open to students from all over the Duval county district. Ours is a whole school program, therefore all of our students will be a part of the IB Middle Years Program.
Q: Will
my student participate in the IB program if he already goes to Lake
Shore?
A:
The IB program is a whole school program. Any student who is currently
in attendance will be a part of the program. If a student is zoned for Lake Shore, they will still attend school here.
Q: Will my student be able to succeed in the IB program? Isn’t that supposed to be really rigorous?
A: The Middle Years Program is designed to give students the skills needed to excel if they choose to go on to the diploma program. All students can benefit from this program of instruction.
