WHY is SAC important?

SAC is important because it makes a difference in the life of the school and the students who attend.

Through involvement with SAC, parents, teachers, administration, students, and business partners show that Landmark is achieving its mission and purpose to inform, educate and mold the leaders of tomorrow.

WHO is SAC?

Landmark’s School Advisory Council (SAC) includes

¨     Parents,

¨     Teachers,

¨     Administrators,

¨     Students, and

¨     Business Partners,

and is dedicated to improving many facets of the school, driven primarily by the School Improvement Plan (SIP).

While SAC does not have all the answers, we know that a group of people working together and committed to a single purpose can bring about positive change.

Message from Landmark Middle School PTA Board
It's Time to Get Connected!

Families are active participants in the life of a school. They are valued and should feel connected to school staff, and to what students are learning and doing in class.

One of the best ways to “Get Connected” is by joining the Landmark Middle School PTA for the 2009 – 2010 School year for only $5.00 per member. As a member you are invited and encouraged to attend our monthly meetings. We welcome grandparents, relatives, businesses, and other community members to join as well.

The money the LMPTA raises provides so many things that benefit our Students and support our Teachers The LMPTA sponsors the Student Recognition program, Teacher Appreciation, and FCAT Programs and Treats, just to mention a few. In this Duval County Public School budget crises, that the are facing, we not only need your monetary support but also your support by volunteering to assist our students.

Monthly LMS PTA Board Meetings
The Landmark PTA Board Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Teacher’s Lounge. All PTA General and PTA Board Meetings are open to all Landmark Middle School PTA Members.

Looking forward to a wonderful school year
LMPTA Board
