Front Office Policies and Mission Statement

It is our Mission to support and protect students as they grow and mature and help them reach new levels of responsibility.

Policy and Procedure to execute mission:

To support and protect the learning environment:

·

All visitors must have proper ID when entering the building! Drivers license is needed to obtain a visitor’s pass; you must be listed on the student’s emergency information sheet in order to obtain a pass. You must show proper ID, be at least 18 years of age, and be listed on the student’s emergency information sheet in order to check a student out of school.

·

Classrooms WILL NOT be interrupted during the last 30 minutes of the day without authorization from administration. Administration holds the right to deny delivery of a message, or dismissal of a student during the last 30 minutes of the day.

·

We will not accept any type of special event delivery for students. This includes, but is not limited to: cupcakes, pizza, or any food to share with peers. Delivery of flowers or balloons will be refused. Students will not be called out of class to see delivery before it is turned away.

·

Students will not be called out of class for visitation purposes. Administration holds the right to deny visitation that interrupts the academic learning process.

To help students grow, mature, and reach new levels of responsibilities:

·

Any delivery needed for the academic school day must be dropped off in the main office no later than 10 AM. Due to our limited staff, we are not able to guarantee delivery time. This includes but is not limited to: homework, PE clothes, Art Area supplies, lunch or lunch money. Deliveries after 10 AM will not be accepted.

·

Parents will not deliver projects to the classroom at any time. Projects may be left in main office with student’s name. Student may obtain a hall pass from teacher to pick up project at the beginning of the class period.

·

Messages will be delivered to students on an individual emergency basis only. Administration holds the right to deem what is an emergency.

·

Students need to know their mode of transportation prior to start of the academic day. Messages to change mode of transportation will be handled on an emergency basis only. Administration holds the right to deem what is an emergency.

·

Due to lack of space, parents wanting to eat lunch with their student will need to check them out of school; student will sign in upon returning. The school grounds picnic tables are available for this purpose.

Working together, we will witness your student grow and mature as they reach new levels of responsibilities throughout the school year!
