For all information pertaining to Engineering Technology I, II, and III
- Engineering Technology I: Usually taken in
the 9th grade year, this course is an overview of technology, as well as team
decision making, product design, and business presentation skills.
Students also explore engineering concept and tools such as pneumatics, CAD,
AC/DC Electrical, and control systems.
- Engineering Technology II: Usually
taken in the 10th grade, this class expands upon the concepts learned in
Engineering Technology I, such as team problem solving, problem design
analysis, and engineering ethics. Students explore advanced engineering
concepts such as thermodynamics, materials engineering, and structural
analysis. Students will also apply what they have learned to semester
design project.
