Greetings from Ellen Rubens, Principal:

After more than 6 years at Lola M. Culver Elementary as its principal, it continues to be such a pleasure for me to serve the children who strive so hard to improve academically. Equally as rewarding is my opportunity to work with teachers and other staff members who serve selflessly to make a significant difference in the future of this community. The children who attend our school are eager, intelligent and warm youngsters who truly want to have a good life for themselves as they grow older. Unfortunately, many of the children lack prerequisite academic skills and self confidence when they enter our doors. But with their teachers’ dedication, patience, and high expectations, our students embrace the warm learning environment that has been created for them and they blossom as learners. It is thrilling to behold the positive changes that occur each and every day within the Lola Culver school family.
