Safety Procedures
At 8:45 every morning our exterior doors will be locked and remain locked to create a secure environment. All visitors will need to come in through the first set of double doors at the Bus Port. Use the doorbell to enter and then check in at the front office. All visitors must sign in and are required to wear a badge or sticker while on campus. To check out a student you must have ID. These procedures have been put in place to maintain a secure and safe learning environment.

 

Extended Day Services

 

Mamie Agnes Jones Welcomes you to.....

Childcare for your child, before and after school with enriching programs and homework assitance.

 

What: Our Extended Day Program

When: School Days, including early dismissal

Where: M.A. Jones Elementary, Room 7 and 11

Time: 7:00-8:00 am Cost $52.00 a month

3:00-6:00 pm cost $100.00 a month (early dismissal days included in this price)

Other: Afternoon snack needs to be provided daily by parents.

Early Checkout Policy for Duval County
 Early checkout is defined as a parent or guardian signing a child out before the end of the school day. Students will not be released within the final 30 minutes of the school day unless the principal/designee determines it is an emergency or an excused event. Please submit written notes if you know that your child will need to leave early for any reason.
