Dear Student,

I welcome your interest in the University of Cambridge AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) Program at Mandarin High School. AICE is a rigorous, pre-university program of study for academically talented and motivated students who wish to qualify for admission to the best colleges and universities. Upon completion of various phases of coursework, AICE students sit for University of Cambridge International Examinations. Successful performance on these examinations (AS level) leads to advanced standing at the colleges and universities to which the student is admitted, as well as qualifying the student for the University of Cambridge AICE Diploma.

The Application Packet includes the following:

C. Honor Code Statement

D. Probation Information

E. Student and Parent Commitment Form

F. Film and Literature Permission Form

Please complete the requested information carefully. Place the completed application, a copy of your latest report card, and copies of your FCAT Reading and Math scores from 7th grade in a large manila envelope and return to me at MHS no later that January 12, 2012.

Letters informing students of the Admission Committee's decision will be mailed on January 30, 2012.

Student commitment forms must be received by February 10, 2012.
