The AICE program is a college-preparatory curriculum
sponsored by England’s Cambridge University, one of the world’s oldest
and most renowned educational institutions. It offers a variety of
advantages for students who want to pursue an advanced program of
study. It is more flexible than the International Baccalaureate
program. AICE provides opportunities to earn college credit or advanced
standing at colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
The program offers a broad, flexible, balanced preparation for
collegiate honors-degree programs, promotes tolerance and understanding
through courses of international relevance, and fulfills requirements of
eligibility for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. It also
encourages an independent, investigative approach to learning as well as
developing strong communication and thinking skills. It provides
students with opportunities to undertake individual research and work as
part of a team
A group certificate is awarded on the basis of external examinations and
project scores. The program also features an innovative and accelerated
method of study.
