Lisa J. Moses is the new 12th grade level Assistant Principal at Mandarin. Originally from Chicago, IL, Miss Moses worked in several upper echelon positions for the Department of Defense for 18 years before making the transition to education. She has a Bachelors of Science in Education from Armstrong-Atlantic Sate University and a Masters of science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Currently, Miss Moses is a doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University, majoring in Organizational Leadership.

   Miss Moses has worked for Duval County Public Schools for six and a half years. She is certified in the areas of Educational Leadership for all levels, English (grades 5-9), and holds and ESOL endorsement.

   Miss Moses is married to Philip, who is retired Navy, and they now call Jacksonville home.


One philosophy Miss Moses shares with all students is that, "You are a work in progress. Always remember, nobody is perfect, but you are better than you were before.
