Dear Mandarin Mustangs,
Greetings to you all from
your new principal, Dr. Donna Richardson.
I cannot tell you how excited and honored I am to be
joining the ranks of such a prestigious organization as Mandarin Senior
High School. I have always admired everything about your school and cannot
wait for school to open so I can start a new chapter in my professional
career. I have already been equipped with the appropriate green and orange
attire by Tammie Talley, Mandarin’s athletic director, and have had two long
days of conversations with our administrative team making instructional
plans for the new school year. Everyone I have met has been super and has
eagerly welcomed me to my new home. I have placed a personal biography on
the website for your perusal and understanding of my pathways up to this
point. I promise you that I am prepared for this change and well aware of
the parent, student, and faculty expectations of me. I plan on spending
many years at Mandarin and am not in the Drop Program. I have not quite
finished arranging my new office, but hope to be fully settled in prior to
August 17th when the teachers return. I have spent the last few
days interviewing teacher candidates for vacancies and handling the day to
day business of this super school. I might not have all my moving boxes
empty yet, but my heart is unpacked and ready to begin.
Hope to see you
soon,
Dr. Donna A.
