Mandarin High School is committed to
ensuring that our school is a safe environment for
instruction and for students, faculty, and staff. To assist
in this target, we have developed a team of administrators,
teachers, and staff members to review the needs of the
school and to target on positive approaches to school
discipline and management of students. Included in our
committees goals are the following:
Identify positive incentives for appropriate
behavior
Adjust our tardy policy to decrease the number of students in
the halls and out of class.
Establish policies to decrease bullying and
harassment of students.
Develop a positive program for drug
awareness
Assist teachers in developing strategies to
decrease distractions and misbehavior in class
It is our hope that we will be able to work
with parents and students to consistently improve our
instructional environment.
