Officer Harris
Officer Harris has been an Officer
with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for eleven years and has
been an SRO for eight years. He was born here in Jacksonville,
Florida. He graduated from UNF with his bachelor’s degree in
criminal justice. He is currently working on his masters at the
University of Florida. These past few years he has met new
people and created strong bonds with the students. As well as
being an SRO officer he is also an assistant coach for the
Mandarin High School Mustangs Football Team. He is also an
assistant coach for the Mandarin High Girls Flag Football Team.

Officer
Matzen
Officer Matzen is
the newest addition to the Mandarin SRO family. Along with Officer Harris,
he assists the Mandarin faculty in keeping order and the rules intact. This
is Officer Matzen's first year as an official SRO officer at Mandarin High,
but he is familiar with the school. Officer Matzen has been on the force
for six years and before this he worked as a patrol officer on the
northwest side of Jacksonville.
