MANDARIN HIGH COMMUNITY SCHOOL
SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM

Requirements – High School student
Minimum age 15 years on 1st day of class
100% attendance
No open-heeled shoes permitted (i.e. flip-flops, sandals)

Fee - $135 for 42 hour course (7 days), CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY (exact change please)

Class Days – Monday-Friday (7 business days, off on holidays)

Time of classes – 7:15am to 1:45pm

Location of classes – students will report to the Portable located
by the Drivers Ed. Range

Registration – Tues. - Thurs from 5-8 pm, May 6 through June 4 until sessions are full. You may register only your child.


Instruction includes:
 Driving skills
 Earning a Waiver for the 4-hr. Drug and Alcohol Component
 Earning a Waiver for Leaner's Permit
 Possible Reduction on Car Insurance (check with your insurance Co.)
 

To earn a Driver License Waiver, student must score a minimum of 85% on written tests, 85% on range driving skills, and 85% on street driving skills.
