It’s the latest trend that’s not only helping the environment but creating a
better way of life for all.
You’ve heard about it, people are doing it
but do you really know what it is?
The Green campaign
was initially started by former vice president, Al Gore.
In 1992
he led the Clinton-Gore Administration with numerous efforts to help protect
the environment in a way that also strengthens the economy. Since then Gore
has written the best selling book An Inconvenient Truth. This book
focused on the issues of global warming and how it’s not only affecting our
health but nature in and among itself. A historic and memorial event that
Gore contributed to was Live Earth which occurred worldwide on July 7th
2007. It was 24 hours of music
across the 7 continents to promote a multi-year campaign to tell
individuals, companies and governments to take action to solve the climate
crisis. Major musical groups and celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Bono,
the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Eyed Pea’s and many more accompanied
Mr. Gore to reach out to the people on this serious matter. This is a crisis
that everyone needs to not only be aware of but be taking action to prevent
before things get any worse. So what can you do to help?
