PTSA SUPPORTS AND APPRECIATES THE FACULTY AND STAFF OF MHS

The entire 07-08 PTSA board would like to say that it has been our pleasure to serve the parents, students and staff of MHS this past year.  If you have the opportunity, please visit the school website at www.duvalschools.org/mhs and click on the PTSA page.   We have included a brief history for MH PTSA this year that we hope you find interesting and inspiring.  Thank you to all who have helped us in making this year so successful.  We will be sadly saying good-bye to some good friends and great helpers along with their graduating student this year, but are ready to welcome new members to the group.   We look forward to next year and hope to see you in August 2008.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Volunteers

MH PTSA appreciates all of the great volunteers we have had this year!  PTSA volunteers have contributed over 15,000 volunteer hours to Mandarin High School.  Volunteers are always needed for various activities throughout the school year even if you only have an hour to give.  PTSA will need volunteers during orientation and the first few weeks of the upcoming school year.  If you are interested in helping out or learning more about volunteering at Mandarin High, please contact Anne Olkowski @ 260-5597.

Mandarin High PTSA-Publix Appreciation would like to take this opportunity to especially thank all of the volunteers that have given their late nights and early mornings to make this program a success. Publix Appreciation is a simple a way to say THANK YOU to the Mandarin High Faculty and Staff.  The volunteer names who have assisted are Julie Prince, Brenda Hall, Martha Cullen, Christy Loberger, Gina Parson, Elise Parson, Madison Cassidey, Katherine Scully, Jon Scully, Tanya Porter, Matt Porter, Susie Chenoweth, Taylor Chenoweth, Terri Brown, Mike McLellan, and Anne Olkowski. Teacher Supply Depot

The Teacher Supply Depot will be open 3 to 6pm on May 8th.  This summer the Teacher’s Supply Depot will be moving to a new location – they will need lots of help!  This is a great opportunity to volunteer and for athletes, leadership, student council, sports teams and college students to get community service hours  For more information contact Anne Olkowski @ 260-5597 or Brenda Hall @ 268-1402.

Generous Contributors

THANK YOU to Herff Jones, Larry’s Giant Subs, Olive Garden and Publix for their generous donations and continued support to the MHS PTSA.  Without the continued support of these business partners, we could not recognize the Administration, Faculty, Staff and Volunteers  for all that they do to make Mandarin High School a success!
