MHS Honors Jarell Stewart on What Would
Have Been His 18th Birthday
On Friday, January 28th,
2010, Mandarin High School hosted a tree planting ceremony for the
family of Jarell Stewart. Jarell was a Senior at MHS who played
football and was loved by his peers, coaches and teachers. He passed
away on Labor Day weekend and will be missed by all. In his memory, a
tree was planted in the MHS courtyard. It is located by the bell tower
with a stone next to it.
The Friday of the event would have been Jarell's 18th birthday.
