After a long, grueling season the girls bowling team made it to
the state finals, coming within 14 pins of winning the State Championship. The girls
bowling team represented Mandarin High at the State Championship Tournament
at the Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando on November 6th. They finished as state
runners-up with a record of 15-1. The team was lead by seniors Stephenie St.Angelo, Jeniffer White, and
junior Kaitlyn Degel who all made
the all-district team. The girls unfortunately lost to Deland by a mere 14
pins in the final game.
Congratulations to the entire Girl's Bowling team and their
coaches for a fine effort and an excellent season.
