School Policies

Visiting Our Schools and Classrooms:

We invite you to visit our school and classrooms any time. We ask that you make an appointment with your child's teacher so important instruction is not interrupted. We also ask that you sign in at the front office, and wear a Visitor's I.D. Badge while you are here. The safety of

our campus and students is our main concern.

Teacher Conferences:

We ask that you schedule all teacher conferences in advance, so that you may

have your teacher's full attention, and so that your questions and concerns can be properly addressed.

Our Dress Code:

We encourage all students to wear a uniform. Our uniform consists of navy blue or khaki bottoms, with white, yellow, or red tops. Our students are expected to follow all dress policies put forth by the district as well, including no high heels or open backed shoes, no halter or crop tops, and no visible boxer shorts.

Student Attendance Policy:

Students with 5 unexcused absences in a month, or 10 within 90 days, shall be referred to the Attendance Intervention Team.  The AIT will review each case and meet with parents.  Referrals will be made to district attendance workers if outside assistance is needed.

Student Code of Conduct:

I will respect, listen to, and obey all school personnel.

I will keep my hands off others, and their property.

I will walk in school.

I will leave toys and chewing gum at home.

I will refrain from fights, threats, picking on or bullying others.

I will keep my desk and classroom clean.

I will use good manners in the cafeteria.
