Mandarin Oaks Elementary

Kindergarten Supply List  

2011-2012

• 1 package of yellow #2 pencils

• 1 package of large pencils

• 6 glue sticks

• 3 boxes of 16 crayons

• 4 plastic folders with pockets and prongs: 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, and 1 yellow

• 2 primary composition notebooks (picture area at top - available at School Aids, Office Max and Office Depot)

• 1 pair of scissors

• 1 school-size backpack (no wheels)

• 3 bottles of hand soap with a pump

• 2 bottles of hand sanitizer with a pump

• 2 boxes of tissues

• 2 reams of copy paper

• 3 containers of Clorox wipes

• 1 box of gallon size zip-lock bags (boys only)

• 1 box of quart size zip-lock bags (girls only)

What can your child know to start kindergarten on the right foot?

First Grade Supply List  

2011-2012

• 1 set of Ear Buds for Computers and Listening Station (available at Walmart, Dollar Store, Target)

• 4 Large glue sticks

• 1 box of solid wooden, #2 plain pencils.  (The fancy glitter pencils and plastic coated pencils clog the pencil sharpener)

• 6 plastic Duotang folders with pockets (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1blue, 2 orange, 1 purple)

• 1 small plastic pencil box

• 1 box of crayons (24 Count)

• 5 composition books

• 1 pair of Fiskar scissors

• 2 pink erasers (Brand name "Pearl")

• 1 reams of white copy paper

• 2 bottles of liquid hand soap

• 2 bottles of hand sanitizers

• 2 boxes of tissues

• Index Cards (3x5)

• Ziplock Baggies gallon size (Girls only)

• Ziplock Baggies quart size (Boys only)

• 3 composition notebooks (marble black/white)

• 3 spiral notebooks (blue/red/yellow)

• 6 plastic pocket folders with prongs (red/blue/orange/green/purple/yellow)

• 1 pencil pouch/box

• 12 glue sticks

• 2 boxes Crayons (24 count)

• 1 pair of scissors

• 2 box of tissues

• 2 bottles of Germ-X antibacterial gel

• 2 bottles of hand soap

• 1 large container of Lysol Wipes

• Package of pink block erasers

• 2 packs of computer copy paper

• Ziploc bags gallon size (boys only)

• Ziploc bags sandwich size (girls only)

Please don't label your child's supplies.  Some of the supplies may be community supplies.

• 1LARGE zippered pouch (not school boxes)

• 1 pack of glue sticks

• 1 pack of cap erasers

• 1 pair of scissors

• 1 box of plastic baggies (quart or gallon size)

• 2 composition books

• 1 PLASTIC pocket folder

• 1 one-inch three ring binder

• Small enclosed hand held pencil sharpener

• Colored pencils

• Blue or black erasable pen

• 2 highlighters

• 3 Packs wide-ruled notebook paper

• 5 Folders with prongs and 2 pockets (do not put your name on them)

• 2 Composition notebooks

• 2 reams/packs of white printer paper

• 1 bottle of liquid hand soap and/or 1 bottle of hand sanitizer

• 1 box of tissues

• 1 Container of Clorox wipes

• Colored Markers

• Pencils (mechanical pencils are fine!)

• Headphones / ear buds

• 1 small package of graph paper

Optional: USB/Flash drive
