Female Dress Code

Shirt/Blouse

White dress shirt with regular collar and sleeves

  • must button all the way down the front – no polo type shirts-         

  • must be long enough to stay tucked into pants or skir

  • tee shirts worn under dress shirt must be all white with no writin

  • no labels or logos of any kind – no writing or designs on shirt/blouse 

Dresses/Skirts

Dresses or skirts may be worn. Dresses and skirts must cover mid

Pants

Must be khaki (tan), navy blue or black DRESS slacks (i.e. - Dickie style pants)

  • no jeans, cargo pants, low riders or painters pants (no pants with extra pockets)  
  • must be worn up around waist, no baggy or oversized clothing or excessively tight clothing
  • must have belt and belt loops
  • must be full length slacks – no shorts, skorts or Capri length pants  
  • no labels, patches, holes, rips, frays, tears or bleach spots

Belt

Must be worn at all times and must not dangle in front or to the side.

Scarves may not be worn as a belt.

Dress style belts only with NO large belt buckles. 

Shoes

 

Tennis shoes or flat dress shoes may be worn (heel must not be over one (1) inch high)

  • socks or hose must be worn at all times 
  • no high tops, boots or steel toed shoes  (may not go above ankle)
  • must be laced, tied and/or buckled, strapped, or zipped (traditional manner of tying)
  • may not be open toed, open heeled

Hair

Must be neatly trimmed and combed 

  • style or color must not create a distraction to the educational environment
  • no unusual or large hair adornments (including no head-bands, clips, pony-tail holders/bands with any adornments attached, over-sized barrettes or beads)
  • no unusual designs cut into hair, no excessively high up-do

Jackets

Must button or zip all the way down the front and remain open throughout day

  • no hoods on jackets, no long-trench type coats will be allowed 

Hats

No hats, or caps of any kind may be worn or brought to school

Required Supplies

Students must bring, ONLY a hard-backed, three ring notebook, paper, pen/pencil and 

Forbidden Items

This is a general list of items that are not to be brought to school.  No items are to be brought and left on the bus.  This is a partial list.  NO ITEMS, other than required supplies are allowed as they create a distraction to the educational process.
