School Safety NetsStandards Based Promotion Behavioral Interventionist Mattie V. Rutherford is an alternative school that provides a safe and rigorous learning environment for behaviorally and academically challenged students. The school's small, supportive, and professional faculty and staff are unified in their mindset of academic and behavioral success for all of our students. The administrative staff is supportive and diligently assists teachers to obtain and maintain certification in their specific areas of expertise. A weekly Exit Ceremony is held to honor a student’s completion of his or her stay at Mattie V. Rutherford. Modeled after a graduation ceremony, the Exit Ceremony is an inspiration and constant reminder to the remaining student body that all of their achievements are worthy of recognition. |
