Students are not all alike. Based on this knowledge, differentiated instruction is an approach to teaching that gives students multiple options for learning information and seeing its relevance to their world. Differentiated instruction requires teachers to be flexible in their teaching and adjust their strategies for learners rather than expecting learners to adjust their styles for the curriculum.
