Principal's Message

         Welcome!  I am so excited about the school year.   Our theme for the school year is “Our Amazing RACE-Roadrunners Achieving through Commitment and Effort“.  This theme coincides with our continued commitment to provide a safe and nurturing environment where all students can meet or exceed academic standards.

          Please continue to encourage your child to read for 20-30 minutes each night and record the title and author of each book read in a reading log.   A reading log should be kept by each student and will be included as part of each student’s reading grade.   

I welcome you to come by the school to visit with your child; however, I
 ask that you provide your child’s teacher with a 24 hour notice to avoid
 interruptions throughout the day.  Teachers are available to meet with
 you as needed.  Please call the school at 696-8767 if you wish to schedule
 a conference. 

 I also ask that you do not check your child out of school after 2:15 pm as
 teachers are providing instruction and assigning homework.
