Pine Forest is a dedicated Magnet School in visual and performing arts that is committed to excellence in academics and the arts. We are a nurturing, success-oriented school where accelerated learning is implemented and where students, staff, and faculty are cooperatively accountable for continuing student achievement and advancement of learning. Staff, students, parents, and community members work as a team to ensure this accelerated learning opportunity for every Pine Forest student so that each child will achieve success in society, will be a productive citizen in our democracy, and will be a life-long learner
Pine Forest School of the Performing/Visual Arts is a dedicated magnet committed to providing high quality performing arts and academic education, exceptional community entertainment and activities that promote appreciation for the arts.
Pine Forest Performing and Visual Arts School integrates various art forms with a strong academic program to enhance instruction and improve learning. Teaching in and through the arts develops thinking skills such as analyzing, evaluating and problem solving. The arts also help develop social skills, such as teamwork, self-discipline and positive self-image. The direct connections between study, hard work and high levels and achievement are clearly demonstrated through the arts.
