  • Paxon NCAA Parent Night

    Paxon SAS Parent Night is on January 9, 2017 @ 6:00pm. We will discuss NCAA Division I and II Initial Eligibility Requirements.

  • Magnet Tour Schedule

    • All tours begin promptly at 8:30 AM.
    • Remember, you do not need to schedule an appointment for the Paxon SAS Tours.
    • Parent/Guardian MUST bring the Magnet application to the tour for a signature.
    • Please keep in mind that successful completion of Algebra 1 is a prerequisite.

Students who attend a middle school that is not a part of Duval County Public Schools must bring proof of successful completion or current enrollment in Algebra 1 with current grades to receive a signature.

  • Need Academic Assistance? Try BrainFuse HelpNow

    BrainFuse HelpNow! is a free service provided to Jacksonville Public Library cardholders. This resource provides academic assistance with live homework help from 2-11pm EST 7 days a week. There is a 24/7 question center, writing assistance, skill building, and test preps. Test help is available in all subjects including AP.
    There are also spaces for virtual study groups and collaboration.
    All Duval County Public School students have free student public library cards through a collaboration with the the Jacksonville Public Library. Students are able to utilize their student numbers to access this resource and many other Jacksonville Public Library resources.
    Please take advantage of this wonderful resource.

  • Share Photos with the Yearbook

    There are a couple of ways parents, students, and faculty can share photos with the yearbook team. Via Instagram, with hashtag #PaxMarksTheSpot and by going to and typing in "Paxon" for the school code.

  • Yearbooks on Sale for $60 until January 1st

    The current price for our 2016-2017 Yearbook is $60 and it will remain at that price point until January 1st when it will receive a final price increase to $75. So don't delay. Students can purchase books online at and type in code: 607
    Students can purchase a book using the order form and bringing cash or check (make out to Paxon SAS Yearbook) to room 213 on Wednesdays during their lunch period.
    Seniors should select their yearbook in the Senior Package through Ms. Crosby. Please be on the lookout for in-school sale dates.
    Yearbooks from last year are also for sale. They are $75 and can only be purchased in person. Students can bring cash or check to room 213 on Wednesdays during their lunch period
