Academy of Business and Finance

Students enrolled in the Ribault High School Academy of Business and Finance, a
National Academy Foundation Leader Academy program, focus on a concentrated study of the financial services industry. Specialized courses in
Finance and Business Technology, Financial Operations
(honors), Financial Accounting Applications (honors),
Financial Internship, Personal Financial Planning and numerous enrichment activities give students the opportunity for an in-depth study of financial services. This paves the way for a smooth transition from high school to
college, advanced training programs, and eventually to careers in banking and finance or related fields.

Early College Program

The Ribault Early College provides students the opportunity to
earn a Associate of Arts degree from Florida State
College at Jacksonville while enrolled in high school.
9th grade students attend classes exclusively at Ribault
High School. 10th and 11th grade students attend classes
at Ribault High School and FSCJ's North Campus. 12th
grade students attend exclusively at FSCJ's North
Campus. Students are provided transportation between
Ribault High School and FSCJ's North Campus during 9th
and 10th grades. Transportation during 11th and 12th
grades become the responsibilities of the students and
parents.

International Baccalaureate Programme

The Ribault IB Programme provides students the opportunity to participate in a rigorous course of study, practice critical thinking, get involved in the community and develop their special talents.
Students at Ribault can participate in the Middle Years Programme during their freshmen and sophomore years. They also may apply for the Diploma Programme to continue in IB during their junior and senior years. The Middle Years Programme is a comprehensive course of study in eight subjects that are linked to broad themes called Areas of Interaction. The subjects are mathematics, science, physical education, the humanities, English, technology, foreign language and the arts.

Marine Corps Junior ROTC encourages growth and excellence in leadership, character, academic achievement and physical fitness while preparing students for their next stage of life after high school - college, entry into the workforce, or military service.

Ribault is excited to have
four academic coaches committed to student success and teacher growth.
Our Instructional, Reading, Math and Science coaches will focus on the following key areas of improvement in relation to classroom instruction and student support:
• Improving the effectiveness of PLC implementation
• Facilitating and supporting classroom instruction through the DPS Literacy Framework
• Improving classroom learning environments through Positive Behavior Support (PBS)
